As you may already know, Pamplona is known throughout the world for San Fermín. During this celebration, every morning, a bunch of bulls run along the streets and hundreds of people run in front of them until they reach the bullring. But Pamplona has many other things to offer to its visitors. Let's discover them!

Pamplona City Hall

We know that there is a city hall in every city, but the one we have in Pamplona really deserves to be admired. Its facade is simply impeccable. This building is actually the place where the San Fermin Festival starts. Every 6 of July, at 12:00, a firework is launched from the balcony in front of thousands of people that are celebrating the beginning of San Fermín.

La Ciudadela

During 1571 and by order of king Felipe II, a military fortification with the form of a 5-pointed star is built to defend the city of Pamplona: La Ciudadela. The most impressive thing is that nowadays La Ciudadela still remains in the original shape. The only aspect that has changed is that it is not used as a defensive fortification anymore. Nowadays this beautiful space is used to host concerts and other activities. If you want to have a relaxing walk, you should definitely have it around La Ciudadela.

The Cathedral of Pamplona

As the capital of the province, Pamplona has its own Cathedral. What makes this cathedral so special and unique is that it still has all of its original structural elements. Actually, its cloister is considered to be one of the best gothic cloisters in the whole of Europe. If you love history and art, you should definitely visit this masterpiece.

Plaza del Castillo

This square is without any kind of doubt, the most popular spot in the city. Its amplitude and the variety of bars and shops have made it the favourite place of visitors to chill, have a coffee or even buy the traditional products.

 Yamaguchi Park

Yamaguchi Park is one of the natural areas of the city. This park, which has more than 85.000 square meters, was designed following the Japanese style and is a representation of the four seasons.
